Pause: Fall Retreat

During this day long retreat we invite you to slow down, care for yourself, and reconnect to your own inner knowing. Geared toward mothers and primary caregivers of children, this retreat is for those of us who have been holding extra emotional space for our families during the pandemic.

When: Sunday September 19th, 9:30-4pm

  • Lesley Turenne

    YOGA/MEDITATION TEACHER

Lesley (She/Her) is certified in Hatha Yoga, Restorative Yoga, Prenatal Yoga, Yoga Therapy, and is a few small steps away from completing her Meditation Teacher Certification from Vancouver’s own Lab of Meditation.

Lesley started practicing yoga 20 years ago when she followed her big sister to a local class. She began her studies to become a teacher not long after, at a time when there were only two schools of yoga in the Lower Mainland! For Lesley, Yoga is about being present in the body, rather than striking a pose. Her classes are meditative, breath centred, compassionate and strive to facilitate an experience of embodiment for her students. Her extensive background in restorative yoga and yoga therapy, as well as her sensitivity to her student’s needs, allows Lesley to offer a brave space where students can meet themselves moment to moment. Lesley taught in the Vancouver yoga community for 14 years before taking a break to raise her family and is super excited to return.

Lesley is a mother of two, a wife, a lover of reading and being in nature, she is a good friend and a kind soul.

  • Marnie Watson

    INTUITIVE COACH

Marnie (She/Her) is a certified Intuitive Coach. She offers one-on-one and small group Intuitive Coaching for those who are ready to love themselves and their bodies exactly as they are right now, understand their worthiness, and take up the space they need to live their authentic lives. She is here to support people in all bodies, all genders and sexualities, and continually working to be anti-racist, anti-ablest, queer and fat-positive.

She is a mother of two, a cultivator of deep friendships, a nature lover, gardener, cyclist, reader, yogi and a loving community builder. She loves connecting with people and watching as they transform through this work.
